Ramada Plaza Trabzon Hotel & Spa owned by Başaran Otelcilik & Turizm İşletmeleri A.Ş, which is a part of Başaran Investment Holding, is run by this same company under Ramada Inc. License.

Başaran Investment Holding has grown by investing in various sectors continuously. The first investment works were started by Başaran Gıda with the hazelnut trade that began in Trabzon in 1930. After Hüseyin Başaran took over the company in 1995, he not only built Turkey's most modern integrated hazelnut factory, but also enabled Başaran Investment Holding to grow by investing in different sectors apart from food sector including yacht and tourism. Interior and exterior arrangements of the hotel, opened in 2015, were made by Artebel decoration company of Beril Başaran.

Başaran Investment Holding always provides services that focus on customer satisfaction and trust under any circumstances.

Başaran Investment Holding represents Turkey by raising the standards in global dimensions in many areas such as product, production, service, purchase, quality, health, management, technology and human resources.

As Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Trabzon, we carry out our activities within the frame of our sustainability policies:

Within this scope, we aim to work up our sustainability principles such as our vision, mission and values into our organizational culture by trying to create awareness for both our employees and our stakeholders.
Sustainable Management

  • Providing sufficient and competent human resources, technology and financial resources and putting these resources to good account for achieving our sustainability goals,
  • Enhancing and looking over sustainability performance continously,
  • Enhancing continously the sustainable management system that implemented within the frame of our sustainability principles,
  • Complying with provisions, national and international standards within the scope of our activities,
  • Being in communication with the guests accommodating in our hotel and providing costumer-oriented service.

Cultural Sustainability

  • Creating high added value to tourism sector by promoting the aforesaid and indigenous places in the region where our hotel is located,

Environmental Sustainability

  • Mitigating the waste amount that may emerge as a result of our activities, energy consumption and pollution,
  • Providing using natural resources economically by following and implementing the technological developments,
  • Mitigating energy and natural resource consumption by raising environmental awareness of our employees, guests and stakeholders.    

Energy Conservation           

  • Preferring the utulization of equipment for energy conservation,
  • Preferring led lighting for illumination,
  • Energy conservation makes the utulization of renewable energy project forward looking,
  • Educating all employees for energy conservation.

Water Saving

  • Preparing and presenting precaution cards and affiche regarding water saving measures for the guests,
  • Using dual system in flush,
  • Preferring water saving equipment, ( showerheads, using aerator etc. )
  • Ensuring water use is controlled in landscape area,
  • Educating all employees for water saving,

Occupational Health and Safety

  • Taking every precaution within the scope of occupational health and safety to create safe environment that will minimize the risk of accidents and prevent occupational diseases for our employees and stakeholders,

Equality and Exploitation

  • Intolerancing any harassment or discrimination based on the personal immunity, personal liberty and personal security that are protected by legislation and taking every precaution within this scope.

Conserving Biodiversity and Ecosystem

  • Providing in-kind or other assistance for conserving biodiversity and ecosystem and advising the visitors within this scope,
  • Carrying out activities for animal welfare and providing accommodation for pets in our property.

The Law On The Protection of Personal Data and Information Assurance

  • Protecting and handling all personal data lawfully in accordance with the Protection of Personal Data Law no. 6698.
  • Protecting its integrity and unauthorized access and providing its privacy by identifying information portfolio.
